São Caetano Hillfort
Historical heritage
The São Caetano Hillfort is one of the many protohistoric fortified settlements that bear witness to the remote occupation of this territory.
Situated on a flattened hill, at the top of the Cerro de São Caetano, approximately 330 metres above sea level, next to the Ribeira da Silva, it was occupied in the Iron Age and later by the Romans.
