Salvaterra do Miño
Its special microclimate has given rise to the presence of extensive wine and horticultural plantations. The "Condado do Tea wine party", declared of tourist interest, and the launch of one of the best interactive museums in Spain, the “Wine Science Museum", exemplify the roots of the wine culture.
The Salvaterra fortress, declared of cultural interest (BIC) in 1949, is considered one of the most important and impressive fortifications in southern Galicia. The international bridge over the Miño river stands out, which joins Monçao and Salvaterra de Miño, both towns currently form a Eurocity.
