How to arrive

Built in 1715, it’s located on the southern part of the hillfort. With two rectangular rooms, surrounded by a high wall, a doorway between pilasters topped by the coat of arms of Portugal and, below it, by the coat of arms of Ataídes.

Inside, under a tombstone, lies the lieutenant general João Vitoria Miron de Sabione, governor of the square and founder of the Aula Real de Artilharia.
